What is MPhC?
The development in pharmacy education has lead to positive increment in the number of pharmacy students in MSU. Therefore the need arise for an organization which could coordinate pharmacy students society in MSU.
MPhC is the abbreviation for the Management and Science University Pharmacy Club. It is a university level organization which re-consolidate various bachelor and diploma pharmacy students of MSU under one organization.
MPhC is a student-oriented, non-political society which is concerned entirely with pharmacy education and pharmacy profession, directly and indirectly.
Vision
To offer future Pharmacists and Assistant Pharmacists a comprehensive insight into global health issues. Through our programmes and opportunities, we develop culturally sensitive MSU pharmacy students of health especially drugs information, intent on influencing the transnational inequalities.
Mission
The MPhC will strive:
- To provide an opportunity and a forum to discuss any concerns and problems faced by MSU pharmacy students.
- To reinforce the role, communication and position of pharmacy students in MSU.
- To strengthen the relationship between pharmacy students and the pharmacy community, for example, MPS, pharmacy industry, and public sector of pharmacy.
- To recognize and realign the pharmacy students'activities in MSU so that the input obtained by the students and the output gained by the community are consistent to retain the membership of pharmacy students.
- To globalize activities done by pharmacy students of MSU.
- To encourage participation of representatives from MSU pharmacy students in Malaysian Pharmacy Students'Association (MyPSA) meetings.
- To simplify the implementation process of activities in a more systematic way at national and international level.
